What Are Critical Rebate Changes?
A Critical Rebate Change happens when rebate rules or deadlines change. If you don’t act on the update, your claim could be rejected.
Examples include:
New submission deadlines from a utility or program
Additional documentation requirements
Updates to eligible equipment or program rules
How Rock Rabbit Responds to Critical Changes
When a critical change is identified, our team immediately:
Identifies what programs, regions, or equipment are affected
Shares clear deadlines, requirements, and next steps
Prioritizes your support requests for faster response times
Performs extra checks on final deadline days so nothing slips through
You’ll hear from us through:
Email & In-App Alerts — with clear instructions on what’s changing and what you need to do (we aim for 2 weeks’ notice when possible).
Targeted Outreach — if you have unsubmitted projects that need attention, we’ll contact you directly.
Contractor Resources — updated Knowledge Base articles and the Incentive Alerts tab in the platform for the latest info.
Your Role When a Critical Change Happens
When you receive a critical rebate program change communication from Rock Rabbit:
Review the notice carefully for affected programs or applications.
To avoid issues, submit all required claims well in advance. The final cutoff is 4:00 PM EST on the Rock Rabbit deadline, which falls one day before the program’s final deadline.
Reach out through support if you need clarification — our team will be prioritizing support related to the change.
Why This Matters
Rebate programs can be unpredictable when rules shift suddenly. Rock Rabbit exists to support you with rebates and give you confidence and peace of mind:
You’ll always know about program changes.
You won’t miss out on rebates because of missed deadlines.
You’ll have a clear path forward when critical changes happen.
